Larry J Berman

Larry J. Berman retired from the military after 27 years of service, dividing his career between the U.S. Army and the U.S. Coast Guard. He served as an Army medic for 13 years and later returned to military service following the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, serving as a Coast Guard medical corpsman until his retirement in 2015.

Born in Texas and raised in a loving Jewish home, Larry's spiritual journey began at an early age and ultimately led him to a life of Christian faith. Since his salvation in Germany on April 22, 1976, he has remained devoted to following the Lord and sharing the message of God's love, grace, and faithfulness through both his life and his writing.

The Courtship of Princess Alice and King Lari-Joshua was inspired by Larry's relationship with the love of his life, Alice Louise Harvey Berman. While the novel is a work of fiction, it incorporates elements of their own love story while reflecting timeless themes of faith, courtship, commitment, forgiveness, and God's providential guidance.

Larry's next writing projects include The Power of King Lari-Joshua and Queen Alice's Unity: Two Shall Put Ten Thousand to Flight, the second book in his Royal Love Story Series; Adam and Eve...Before!, an imaginative romance envisioning the lives of Adam and Eve before their banishment from the Garden of Eden; Here! and THERE!, a thought-provoking story exploring heaven and hell; and Prayer: Why Is It So Difficult and How to Overcome It! Larry and Alice have been happily married since January 2022 and reside in Florida, where Larry continues to write, speak, and encourage readers to trust God's direction in every season of life.
