Part 1: The Lonely Princess
Chapter 1
The Princess Meets King Lari-Joshua during the eighteenth century, in a very small European country, a godly woman of Irish-Italian descent named Alice Louise Hervé endeavored to discover—like all of us—her purpose in life and where she best fit in. Her parents instilled a strong set of Christian values into each of their four children. Alice was the eldest.
Alice’s father was a knight, a captain, and a guardian to the king. He taught his children that no matter what life brought their way, their Heavenly Father was always watching over them and guiding their steps.
Raised a Catholic, she searched during her young adult years for the meaning of what God wanted her to do. She believed that her Creator wanted her to get married and serve her husband. Alice often dreamed of marrying a romantic king who would be devoted to her. He would hurry to her each evening after his duties were completed. Then they would spend their evenings watching the stars and sharing stories about their day and how good God had been to them.
